Barefoot bandit hero story. Carl Schwappach and Peter Hussian

The journey starts when Colton Harris-Moore is born. He is born into a troubled family with an alchoholic mother and his father leaves when Colton is two years old. His step father is addicted to drugs and eventually overdoses and dies. We would consider this to be a special birth. When Colton meets "Harley Davidson Ironwing," he learns how to break into houses very stealthily. We think that he is Colton's supernatural guide. He crosses into the threshold when he first starts to steal things with his friend, Harley. His test/ordeals are when finds his way into stealing people's property and he must do that succesfully to be able steal bigger things like boats or planes. Once he becomes a regular thief by stealing material objects, he is now into the bellly of the whale because he is now a complete thief. When Colt is 17, he finds the courage to steal his first plane. We think that it is an ultimate boon because that act of courage gives him the confidence to keep stealing planes and boats. He starts to get his name recognized by the public as the "Barefoot Bandit". I think that makes him a master of two worlds because he is a master of theives in his world and a master of stealth to the public and some like him for it. Colton goes down to the undeworld when he goes to the Bahamas and that is also where he has his final battle in the boat chase with the authorities. This is the final battle because that is where he is stopped. The apotheosis is when the police take him out of the underworld and he is surprisingly well liked by some of the public. The fact that some people still like him as he comes out is also an Elixir because that is his reward for going on his journey. His magic flight is when he is taken to jail and he gets to reunite with his mother. That is the journey of "The Barefoot Bandit".

Star wars blog

Heros have to have more than one important trait. A comparison between Doug and Luke is that both of them have more than one good trait. Doug is a good friend and he saves his friend from committing suicide because he knows how to speak to him and comfort him. Luke is a good nephew because he is going to stay another year for the harvest (but his family dies) and he wants to follow in his fathers foot steps and work hard to become a jedi which shows his dedication. Both the charectors have two or more high quality traits that add to them as a person and that is what makes a good person and what a hero has to have.
